Maritime Concert Series
Northwest Seaport hosts the Maritime Concerts featuring the best maritime music from the Northwest and beyond. Maritime music includes sea chanteys (work songs), forebitters (leisure songs), and tunes from the diverse countries and cultures of mariners themselves.
Tom Lewis -- Saturday, October 30th
Join Northwest Seaport this October to hear Tom Lewis perform his famous repertoire of nautical songs and sea chanties. Tom accompanies himself on button accordion and ukulele, but it's that powerful vocal style and infectious humor that keeps audiences coming back again and again.
See Tom Lewis live on Saturday, October 30th at the Center for Wooden Boats, 8pm to 10:30 PM.
Holdstock & MacLeod -- Saturday, November 20th
Join Northwest Seaport this November for Holdstock & MacLeod's authentic renditions of the songs of their British homelands. Their harmonies and strong melodic tones resonate with all who have the pleasure of hearing them. Whether performing shanties and other traditional music of the sea or nineteenth century ballads, an evening of music with Holdstock and MacLeod is an extraordinary glimpse into a not-so-distant past. Audiences join in by singing and laughing along to their outrageous songs and stories.
See Holdstock & MacLeod live on Saturday, November 20th at the Center for Wooden Boats, 8pm to 10:30 PM.
