Northwest Seaport's historic vessels are located in Seattle's Lake Union Park, just north of downtown. The tugboat Arthur Foss, Lightship #83, and troller Twilight are moored on the Historic Ships Wharf with other vessels. Northwest Seaport has several recurring opportunities to experience its historic vessels:
Open Hours - the tugboat Arthur Foss is open from 12 to 4 pm for self-guided tours on Saturdays and Sundays between May 1 and October 31. Exact schedule depends on volunteer availability; if you are coming from out of town, please call or email ahead to ensure that the vessel will be open.
Chantey Sings - Chantey Sings are a free event open to all, held the second Friday of every month. Next Chantey Sing: May 8th, 2009, aboard the steamer Virginia V at Lake Union Park.
Group Tours - Group tours of the tugboat Arthur Foss are available by appointment at a rate of $5 per person ($2 per students and seniors). Tour accomodates up to 12 people, lasts approximately 45 minutes, and involves climbing ladders. Please call or email to schedule a group tour.

By car from Interstate 5:
Take exit 167 towards Mercer St
Turn right at Fairview Ave N
Turn left at Valley St
Turn right into Lake Union Park
Parking
Parking surrounding Lake Union Park is extremely limited. There are pay lots and limited street parking in the neighborhood. Northwest Seaport is unable to validate or reimburse parking expenses for visitors or volunteers.
By bus from Downtown
Take the route MT 70 U-District to the Fairview Avenue and Valley Street stop; walk west (towards the Space Needle) to Lake Union Park
Take the route MT 17 Sunset Hill to the Westlake Ave N & Valley Street stop, which is at the corner of Lake Union Park
Take the route MT 26 East Greenlake to the Dexter Ave N & Roy Street stop; walk east (towards the freeway) on Roy Street and cross Westlake Avenue to Lake Union Park
