Northwest Seaport is pleased to announce Roger Ottenbach as our 2025 Maritime Heritage Hero Award winner! The award will be presented on December 21, 2025 onboard the Steamer Virginia V. The award celebration will run from 2:00 to 4:00.
Roger has a long history in the maritime heritage community including years of service on the board of Puget Sound Maritime with a stint as President from 2010-2012. Roger has worked hard to engage youth in support of maritime workforce development efforts and runs a nautical antiques business in Port Orchard.
