NW Seaport has been preserving our maritime heritage and promoting our maritime industry for 60 years and we'd like to celebrate with you at a series of special events!
June 13: Stories of the Sea a maritime storytelling competition, at the Highliner Public House. Come and eat, drink and hear stories and poems about the adventures and experiences you can only get at sea, told by fishers, deckhands, and other old salts.
June 14: Chantey Sing special edition, at the Center for Wooden Boats
June 15 & 16: Classic Workboat Show at Lake Union Park, featuring workboats old and new, as well as the ships berthed at the Historic Ships Wharf. Local maritime educators will also be sharing information about maritime careers and educational opportunities.
