The second Friday of the month, 7 to 9 PM, in the South Lake Union area.
Seattle, WA: Tavern Shanty Sing
The third Tuesday of the month, 8 PM, at Jules Maes Saloon, 5919 Airport Way S, in the Georgetown neighborhood.
Olympia, WA: Olympia Oral Tradition Pub Sing
The third Sunday of the month, 3 to 5 PM, at Cooper Point Public House (3002 Harrison Ave NW) in Olympia, WA.
Richland, WA: Second Saturday Sea Song Singing Session
The second Saturday of the month, 7 PM, at Round Table Pizza (1435 George Washington Way) in Richland, WA.
San Francisco, CA: Chantey Sing at Hyde Street Pier

The first Saturday of the month, at the S.F. Maritime Historical Park (Hyde Street Pier), usually on the historic sailing vessel Balcluttha. Free, but a limited number may attend; phone well ahead to register (415) 561-7171.

early July: Celebrates the maritime heritage of Whidbey Island, particularly around historic Coupeville, WA.
Astoria, OR: Fisher Poets Gathering
Last weekend of February: Focused on the spoken word, but many original maritime songs can also be heard.
Seattle, WA: Stories of the Sea
Seattle Maritime Festival in May. Maritime Folknet produces a unique maritime storytelling contest and community tradition held at Highliner Pub & Grill at Fishermen’s Terminal.
Seattle, WA: Northwest Folklife Festival
Memorial Day weekend: A variety of maritime acts play at the renowned and free Northwest Folklife Festival that is held at the Seattle Center in the shadow of the Space Needle. The Maritime Showcase held on Saturday afternoon is the anchor of the maritime acts, but other maritime events occur every day. Schedules are usually posted in early May.
Port Gamble, WA: Port Gamble Maritime Music Festival
Mid-August: A free event on the lawn of the historic district at Port Gamble held in the afternoon on a Saturday in mid-August. Local maritime acts play during this free event.
Port Townsend, WA: Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival Chantey Sing
Weekend after Labor Day: The Chantey Sings occurs on the Friday and Saturday evenings from 7 PM until about 10 pm. Other musical acts including some maritime concerts during the day.
