This carefully detailed oversized book is filled with full-spread cross sections and exploded views of ten working boats, one of which (Fireboat Duwamish) is moored right here at the Historic Ships Wharf in Lake Union Park!

Tom Crestodina now lives in Bellingham. He was a fisherman in Alaska for over 20 years and studied marine engineering at the Seattle Maritime Academy. He began making cutaway drawings of the vessels he was working on as a way to communicate with his small child while he was a sea.
